Owners, Mark Rowan, and Chuck Mitchell both grew up in small mountain towns and have always been passionate about all types of hunting, fishing, snow skiing, and other outdoor sports. Fast forward 35 years, Mark and Chuck eventually crossed paths in construction, both owning their successful building-related businesses. Not only were they in the same industry, but they quickly learned they shared the same passions for hunting and fishing which rapidly lead to a friendship and long conversations around campfires regarding the challenges they both faced when searching for high-end hunting and freshwater fishing gear. Finding the high-quality gear that they desired in Southern California was a challenge and most gear was acquired on out of state trips. That desire and passion for high-quality products and love of the outdoors are what drove the formation of Peak2Sea and thus an outdoor sport-focused brand was born.
